The live oaks and pines in Sawgrass, The Plantation and Palm Valley drop pollen from February into April and keep shaded glass damp enough for mildew to grow around the frames. Reclaimed-water sprinklers on the golf-course lots leave white mineral spots on the lower panes, and the afternoon storms throw sand and mulch onto everything below three feet.
